Since Co-op mode adheres greatly to the story of the series, commanders should have more lore-abiding units. It's a PvE mode so balance means nothing. Vorazun's units are absolutely correct lore-wise, which is even more confusing for me. In the campaign, Tempests are the capital ships of the Purifiers, in other words, Fenix should have Tempests instead of Carriers. It's weird that he has Reaver (aka "worms") and Dragoon, but not Scouts and Carriers.

Rayray, Kerrigan and Artanis are fairly boring, at least comparing to other commanders. He is decent but I just find very boring? P1 Karax can be hilariously busted on soooooo many maps. Once the map was fully tower-ed, I just point and click with the Spear of Adun's weapons. I once play a difficult Mutation on the Mist Opportunity mission, the one where enemy units can mutate into Hybrids, then Hybrids go nuclear when they die. Yeah I just play P1 Karax and play Tower Defense the whole map. Sometimes he can just mow down the entire map, leaving me with nothing to do. I frankly don't like Tychus, because I prefer commanders with an army than playing a MOBA. My least favorite to play with is Tychus.
Her army is very expendable and squishy, she has only 100 supply really makes me dislike her. BC Raynor, mass hydra Kerrigan, mass Tempest/Warp Gate Artanis, etc., P2 Fenix (Stargate) and P2 Karax (mass Shadow Cannon Immortal) are also quite fun.
